Friday, August 14th
Dear Diary,
Friday and I was actually in the office, which already felt weird after working from home most of the week. Got an email from my manager asking me to come by his office around ten. Said he wanted my take on all the candidates we’d interviewed. Respect my opinion, blah blah. I grabbed my notes and headed down the hall.
The second I sat down I could tell where his eyes were going. My blouse was this soft blue button-up, nothing crazy, but I hadn’t bothered with a bra and the fabric was thin enough that my nipples were pretty obvious. He kept trying to look at my face, then my notes, then right back down to my chest. I caught it right away and just leaned into it.
I started going through my notes, pointing at different things, and every time I leaned forward my breasts shifted under the material. I could feel them moving, that heavy sway, and I made sure to do it a lot. Dropped my pen once on purpose and bent way over to get it. When I sat back up I could see his face was getting red. He kept clearing his throat, shifting in his chair like he couldn’t get comfortable.
I went on for probably twenty minutes, making sure to reach across his desk for the resume printouts, letting everything jiggle and bounce with the movement. He tried to stay professional, asked actual questions about the candidates, but his voice kept cracking and he’d lose track of what he was saying. It was kind of funny how obvious he was being.
When I finally left his office I texted Janice right away. Told her the whole thing, how he couldn’t stop staring and how flustered he got. She thought it was hilarious, said I probably made his whole week. Then she mentioned the landscaper was coming over tomorrow and I should text Lena again to invite her. I know exactly what she’s thinking. Lena’s officially done with the whole intern thing. No more rules, no more worrying about what people think. Janice wants both of us there when that kid shows up, probably topless again, probably pushing things further than last time.
I haven’t texted Lena yet but I probably will tonight. Janice always has the best ideas for this kind of stuff.
